Places that every booknerd should visit

There are so many stunning places in the world and some of them are related to books. They're secretly hidden in the most mysterious corners of big cities or even very small villages, and I'm going to tell you something about some of them.

1) 221b Baker street

On this address lies a very high house that is now a Sherlock Holmes Museum and it's located in the London district Marylebone. When you step inside this house, it feels like stepping into Sherlock's life in 19th century. Exactly.
Everything there is authentic, all the furniture, books and even newspaper. This house has got and on every single one you'll find an amazingly decorated rooms that look exactly like if Sherlock lived there.

2) Platform 9 3/4

Due to Harry Potter books this platform is hidden behind a magical wall at the King's Cross station in London. Happily, a bunch of awesome people have decided to build an identical one for us, muggles. It's very easy to get there because you'll see the shining building of Saint Pancras hotel, which is actually the train station in HP films and that is next to the real train station, from very far away.

3) Shakespeare and Company

Sounds British? It may but you'll find this beautiful historical bookshop not in England but in Rue de la Bucherie 37, in Paris. And why is this place so popular, you ask? Well, it's simply unbelievably beautiful, it's filled with old and new books and standing inside and looking at all the books feels like being in bookish heaven.

4) Ironbridge bookshop

Not only the bookshop is worthy a mention but also historical surroundings of it. Sadly, and I don't know why, this place is not very known for it's beauties and so I would like to do something about it. This town is filled with small cafés, restaurants and so many museums (seven!!).  Every single building looks like from the elizabethan era and you can almost smell the atmosphere of history there! Just look at the photos.

I really hope you like this my list of stunning bookish places, let me know in the comments which bookish places you like the most and you'd recommend me to visit.
